In the first game Aleena Bahling was one of many offensive stars going 3 for 4 with two doubles while driving in 3 runs.  Renee Rayls was a perfect 4 for 4 with two doubles and two runs driven in.  Asia Thomas also drove in two runs and picked up a stolen base for the Lady Eagles.  Bahling picked up the victory pitching for MSJC in relief of starter Astrid Elizondo.

The second game of the day was more competitive, but MSJC picked up the sweep with a 10-9 win.  Rayls was once again strong at the plate going 3 for 5 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBIs.  Vanessa Felipe scored 4 times for the Lady Eagles.  Bahling was once again the winning pitcher this time in relief of Brenda Patino.

The win improved MSJC's record to 3-5 on the season.  The Lady Eagles have their home opener this Friday February 10th when they host Southwestern College at 11 am and Santiago Canyon College at 3 pm.  All Lady Eagle home games are played at Wheat Field next to the Menifee Campus.

Aleena Bahling was both a hitting and pitching stand out Saturday as the MSJC softball team swept Imperial Valley in a doubleheader at Imperial.
