Late Rally Carries Lady Eagles to 7-3 Win

The MSJC softball team rallied for 7 runs in the final two innings Friday to defeat San Bephotoforsbvcgame.jpgrnardino Valley College 7-3 in San Bernardino.

The Lady Eagles started slowly falling behind 3-0 through the first five innings, before the bats came alive for the comeback victory.  Mariah Borjon, Heather Hermida, and Alicia Landucci each went 2 for 4 in the win.  Borjon scored twice and drove in a run, while Hermida scored once.  Landucci added 2 RBIs and a stolen base.  Spenser King and Antoniette Mata added the other two hits for MSJC with Mata collecting an RBI.

Aleena Bahling picked up her sixth win of the year in the circle for the Lady Eagles going 7 innings and allowing just one earned run on six hits.  The win improved MSJC to 7-16 on the season and 5-6 in Foothill Conference action.  SBVC fell to 10-15 and 4-6.
