Rams End Lady Eagles Two Game Win Streak

Victor Valley spoiled the MSJC softball team's final home game of the season as thlanducciforvvc.jpgey defeated the Lady Eagles 6-2 on Wednesday.

The Rams got off to an early lead scoring one run in the top of the first inning.  They added three more in the top of the fourth to push the lead to 4-0.  It was 5-0, before the Lady Eagles rallied for two runs in the bottom of the sixth on RBI triple by Mariah Borjon and an RBI by Heather Hermida. Alicia Landucci also picked up a hit in the inning.  The two hits in the bottom of the sixth were the only two MSJC had on the afternoon.

Aleena Bahling took the loss in the circle, going the distance and allowing 5 earned runs on 8 hits.  Bahling also struck out 7 on the day.  With the loss MSJC fell to 7-17-1 overall and 5-7 in Foothill Conference games.  Victor Valley improved to 18-12-1 and 8-4.  The Lady Eagles are back in action on Friday when they travel to Palm Desert to take on College of the Desert at 3 pm.



Alicia Landucci had one of the Lady Eagles two hits on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough as MSJC fell to visiting Victor Valley College 6-2 in Menifee.  MSJC is back in action on Friday when they travel to College of the Desert for a 3 pm game.
