In a high energy tilt both teams made some very strong plays and there were many long rallies throughout the match.  Sabrina Latteri was the star of the day for the Lady Eagles as she had 21 kills, 10 digs, and 5 service aces to aid in the victory.  Latteri did have plenty of help as Dayanerrah Taoete added 12 kills and 8 digs while Hannah Schaffer knocked down 9 kills.  Ashley Cork led the way on defense with 18 digs and Johannah Simon passed out a team high 39 assists.

The win was the second in a row for the Lady Eagles and evened their record at 1-1 in Pacific Coast Athletic Conference play.  MSJC is 2-9 overall, while San Diego Mesa fell to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in PCAC action.  The Lady Eagles travel to El Cajon on Friday to take on Grossmont College in a 6pm match.
