MSJC Volleyball Falls to First Place Grossmont

The MSJC volleyball team lost in straight sets Friday night to Grossmont in a Pacific Coast Athletic Conference contest in El Cajon.

The Lady Eagles lost by scores of 25-15, 25-19, and 25-17.  Sabrina Latteri had a team high 4 kills while Dayanerrah Taoete had 3.  Johannah Simon led MSJC with 10 assists and Ashley Cork had a team best 9 digs.

The loss for the Lady Eagles ended a two match winning streak and dropped their PCAC record on the year to 1-2.  MSJC, who is 2-10 overall, will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Oceanside to take on Mira Costa.
