MSJC Volleyball Makes it 3-0 to Start Season

The MSJC volleyball team improved to 3-0 on the season, picking up a victory on Wednesday at San Bernardino Valley.courtneyflowersvball2013.jpg

The Lady Eagles won the first set handily 25-16.  The Wolverines fought back in the second set to even the match winning 25-21, but after that it was all MSJC.  The Lady Eagles won the third and fourth sets by identical 25-15 scores to easily win the match 3-1.  SBVC dropped to 0-4 on the year.

Taylor Kushner continued her impressive start to the season by leading the Lady Eagle offense with 29 kills.  Alissya Theis had 11 digs and 36 assists.  Defensively Courtney Flowers led the way for MSJC picking up 16 digs in the victory.

The Lady Eagles continue their busy week today when they travel to Santa Ana College.  MSJC then travels to Imperial Valley on Saturday for a tournament at IVC.  Tonight's match in Santa Ana is set to begin at 7 pm.


Courtney Flowers had 16 digs on Tuesday night to help the MSJC volleyball team to a victory at San Bernardino Valley.  The Lady Eagles are now 3-0 on the season and return to action tonight when they travel to Santa Ana for a 7 pm match.
