Three More Lady Eagle Volleyball Players Sign Scholarships

A trio of MSJC volleyball players have signed scholarships for the fall making the total number of sigphelpssigns.jpgnees from the volleyball team five for the upcoming season.nataliesigns.jpg

Twin sisters Natalie Gonzales and Priscilla Frias have signed with Dickinson State University in North Dakota while Sarah Phelps has signed with Bethany College in Kansas.  Gonzales and Phelps were both named Second Team All Foothill Conference this past season.  Phelps led the team in digs with 354 and was tied for the team lead with Gonzales for aces with 38.  Gonzales was second on the team in kills with 255 for the season and also second in digs with 225. 

priscillasigns.jpgFrias was a second team all conference player her freshman season, but was limited this past year to just 37 of the team's 82 games because of injury.  In that short amount of time Frias had 83 kills, 102 digs, and 31 aces.  These three signees join teammates Leslie Jenkins and Allie Tucker who have both signed with Bacone College in Oklahoma for the upcoming season.
