Volleyball Team Drops Match to First Place Grossmont

The MSJC volleyball team lost to first place Grossmont on Wednesday night in straight sets in a Pacific Coast Athletic Conference match.

The Lady Eagles fell in the first set 25-17 and then lost the second and third by identical 25-13 scores.  Sabrina Latteri had 8 kills in the loss while Dayanerrah Taoete added 6.  Johannah Simon had a team high 10 assists and Ashley Cork picked up 13 digs.

The loss drops the Lady Eagles to 4-16 overall and 3-8 in PCAC play while Grossmont improves to 17-4 and 10-0.  MSJC will be back in action on Friday when they host Mira Costa in a 5 pm contest on the San Jacinto Campus.
