Lady Eagles Win at Barstow

The MSJC women's basketball team pulled away from Barstow in the late going Saturday afternoaishahvbarstow.jpgon to get a 64-56 win over the host Vikings.

After the game was tied at 28 a piece at the half, MSJC took an advantage early in the second half and never gave up the lead on their way to the victory.  Jasmine Jones led the Lady Eagles offense with 18 points, while Tina Fantroy added 13 points and a team high 10 rebounds.  Nicholle Reyna also reached double figures with 10 for MSJC.  Aishah Pullum had a solid game off the bench for MSJC with 7 points and 7 rebounds, while Diona Andrews added 7 points and 6 boards.

The win pushed the Lady Eagles, currently ranked 11th in the state, record to 14-4 on the season and 2-1 in Foothill Conference action.  MSJC will play Wednesday night at College of the Desert with tip off set for 5 pm.  The Lady Eagles return home on Saturday when they host Chaffey College at 1 pm.


Aishah Pullum came off the bench to score 7 points and grab 7 rebounds on Saturday as the Lady Eagles defeated Barstow 64-56.
