MSJC Women Win in Dramatic Fashion

The MSJC women's basketball team now stands one game from a conference championship, but it took a last second shot from Autumn Spikes to pull off the victory Wednesday night 62-60 over visiting Barstow.

Spikes took a pass from Danielle Reed and knocked down a 17 foot jump shot with 1.7 seconds remaining in the game for the win. Spikes finished the game with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Autum Jenkins led the Lady Eagles offensive attack with 29 points, she also pulled down 12 rebounds. Caysha Jackson also grabbed 12 rebounds in the game.

The win kept MSJC tied for first place in the Foothill Conference with just one regular season game remaining. The Lady Eagles are 22-5 overall and 11-2 in conference games.
