Pair of MSJC Women's Basketball Players Sign NLI's
Two MSJC women's basketball players have made their decisions early this year on where they will continue their education and playing careers for the 2017-18 school year.
2015-16 Southern California Player of the Year Britney Thomas, a San Jacinto HS grad, has signed a National Letter of Intent with The University of Central Florida. Thomas also earned Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors last year following her freshman season for the Lady Eagles. Thomas averaged 19 points and 12 rebounds last season for MSJC as she helped her team to an overall record of 30-2 and an appearance in the State Final Eight.

Fellow Lady Eagle Crystal Malveaux also signed a National Letter of Intent today during the NCAA's early signing period for community college basketball athletes. Malveaux who started all 32 of MSJC's games last year at point guard has committed to Cal Poly Pomona. Malveaux averaged 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game last year as a freshman for the Lady Eagles. Her 5.9 assists per game ranked her third in the State. Crystal is a graduate of Lakeside HS.
Cal Poly Pomona is an NCAA Division II school and a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association. The Broncos have a proud women's basketball tradition that includes 20 conference titles and five National Championships.
