The MSJC women's golf team continued their Orange Empire Conference schedule on Wednesday by shooting a 359 at Diamond Bar Golf Club in the sixth conference match of the season.
Amanda Arnold turned in the low round of the day for the Lady Eagles with an 87, followed by Taylor Brown who had a career best 89. It was the first time this season that Brown cracked the 90 mark. Ashley Coy turned in a 91 while Jane Lee shot 92 and Kaylee Brackenbury carded a 105. MSJC's 359 was just one shot short of fourth place on the day as Orange Coast turned in a 358.
The Lady Eagles finished in front of; Fullerton, Cuyumaca, Saddleback, and Palomar. Mt. San Antonio turned in the best team score of the day with 330. Irvine Valley was second at 345 and College of the Desert took the third spot by shooting 350.
MSJC, who is now 22-26 on the season will be back in action on Sunday and Monday when they take part in the North South Invitational at Morro Bay. The Lady Eagles return to Orange Empire action on Wednesday September 30th when they travel to Costa Mesa Country Club.
Taylor Brown turned in a career best 89 on Wednesday as the MSJC women's golf team went 4-4 in Orange Empire Conference match #6 at Diamond Bar Golf Club.
