MSJC Women's Golf Team Goes 2-2 at Second PCAC Match
The MSJC women's golf team finished third for the second Pacific Coast Athletic Conference match in a row, recording a mark of 2-2 on the day.
Taylor Brown led the Lady Eagles with a 91 on Monday at PCAC Match #2 played at Ironwood Country Club in Palm Desert. Brianna Paquet was next for MSJC as she turned in a 95 Monday. Amber Thornburg carded a 98 on the day while Mary Money shot 123 and Illiannah Laguna shot 128.
The Lady Eagles team score of 407 was good enough for their second straight third place finish and moved them to 4-4 in the conference standings so far this year. Cuyamaca turned in the best team score on the day with a 340. College of the Desert was second at 346, while Crafton Hills and Palomar finished behind MSJC.
The MSJC team will be right back in action on Wednesday when they travel to San Clemente to play in PCAC Match #3. The Lady Eagles will get a chance to play at home on Wednesday October 5th when they host PCAC Match #5 at Soboba Springs Country Club.
