MSJC Women Golfers Third in Final Prep for PCAC Finals
The MSJC women's golf team played their final regular season match on Wednesday and once again turned in a third place finish this time at Los Serranos Country Club.
The Lady Eagles will now prepare for the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Finals to be played at Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning on Monday October 31st and Wednesday November 2nd. At Los Serranos it was Taylor Brown who had the Lady Eagles low score on the day with a 95. Brianna Paquet was next with a 101 while Illiannah Laguna shot 108. Amber Thornburg carded a 113 Wednesday and Mary Money finished with a 117.
Brown heads to the conference finals with a 91.5 scoring average, which ranks her 8th in the conference. MSJC has been eliminated from earning a berth in the CCCAA Southern California Regionals as a team, but they do have four individuals in the hunt to qualify for the Regional Tournament in the singles competition.
