Lady Eagles Soccer Team Shuts Out COD


The MSJC women's soccer team got their offense going Tuesday as they beat visiting College of the Desert 5-0 in Menifee.

The Lady Eagles got two goals and two assists from Angelica Carpenter, while Malorie Reminger added a goal and an assist as well. Hanna Verstegen and Kyla DoAngelica carpenternnelly also added goals for MSJC. Laura Marshall picked up an assist. Goalie Taylor Langston secured the shut out with two saves.

The victory improved the Lady Eagles to 3-6-1 in Foothill Conference play and moved their overall record to 3-11-1. MSJC is back in action on Friday when they travel to San Bernardino for a 3 pm match. The Lady Eagles final game of the season is at home on November 11th when they host Antelope Valley at 3 pm in Menifee.

Angelica Carpenter scored 2 goals and picked up 2 assists in the Lady Eagles 5-0 win against COD on Tuesday.
