Lady Eagles Soccer Team Stays Unbeaten
The MSJC women's soccer team remained unbeaten on the year as they defeated Victor Valley College 3-0 on Friday afternoon in Victorville.
Patricia Roach started the day's scoring when she scored a goal in the 34th minute off an assist from Gabby Chaname. The Lady Eagles pushed the lead to 2-0 just six minutes later when Olivia Hernandez scored on an assist from Demitra Tsambasis. MSJC would hold the 2-0 lead into halftime.
The Lady Eagles put the match out of reach in the 80th minute when Tsambasis scored an unassisted goal to make the score 3-0. Goal keepers Marilla Dos Santos and Amber Roberts combined to shut out the Rams as each had 2 saves while playing 45 minutes a piece. Through four games MSJC has outscored their opponents 11-1 so far this season.
The Lady Eagles who are now 3-0-1 on the year will be back in action on Friday September 19th when they host Long Beach City College in Menifee. Friday's match will kick off at 3 pm on the Menifee Campus.
Olivia Hernandez scored a goal Friday afternoon at Victor Valley to help the MSJC soccer team to a 3-0 win. With the victory the Lady Eagles improved to 3-0-1 on the year. MSJC will host Long Beach on Friday in Menifee at 3 pm.
