MSJC Beats VVC in Soccer

The MSJC women's soccer team scored two late goals on Friday and won on the road at Victor Valley 3-2 in a Foothill Conference match.amberguillen2012.jpg

Kristen Montgomery scored the winning goal in the 91st minute of the match on an assist from Kriston Hilkey.  Jamie Ayala had tied the match in the 83rd minute when she scored on assists from Montgomery and Amber Guillen.  The Lady Eagles first goal of the match was an unassisted score by Lizeth Mendez in the first half.  Taylor Wolf played all 90 minutes in goal for the Lady Eagles making 9 saves in the victory.

The win improves MSJC to 9-3-5 overall and 3-2-5 in Foothill Conference action.  The Lady Eagles will wrap up the regular season with a pair of home game on Friday November 2nd and Tuesday November 6th.  Both matches will be on the Menifee Campus kicking off at 3 pm.


Amber Guillen scored the first of MSJC's three goals on Friday as the women's soccer team won on the road at Victor Valley 3-2.  The Lady Eagles will finish the regular season with a pair of home games on Friday November 2nd and Tuesday Novmeber 6th at Menifee.
