MSJC Soccer Player Riley Ludwig Earns Scholarship
MSJC women's soccer player Riley Ludwig has earned a scholarship to William Penn University to continue her academic and playing career in the Fall of 2017.
Riley, a Goal Keeper from Big Bear High School, was part of two highly successful seasons for the Lady Eagles as the team went 29-11-2 during her two year career. During her freshman season Ludwig and her teammates won the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference North Division title, just the second league title in school history. The Lady Eagles also qualified for the post season the past two seasons.
After her freshman season Ludwig earned PCAC Goal Keeper of the Year honors after collecting 7 shut outs and having a personal record in goal of 11-3. In her sophomore season Riley added 8 more shut outs for MSJC and finished her career with 181 saves. She had a two year record of 22-7-2 in goal.
William Penn is an NAIA school located in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The Statesmen are members of the Heart of America Conference. The women's soccer program is coming off a season in which they went 7-11-1.
