McDevitt Scores Three Times as MSJC Soccer Wins

Ryane McDevitt scored three goals on Tuesday as the MSJC women's soccer team won a home non conference match against Southwestern 5-2.

Ashley Ganley got the Lady Eagles off to a fast start when she scored a goal just six minutes into the match.  Southwestern tied the game just four minutes later, but MSJC took over after that scoring four straight goals before the Jaguars added a final score in the 75th minute.  McDevitt scored her first goal of the day in the 15th minute and added two more in the 67th and 72nd.  McKayla Collins had a goal in the 18th minute in the victory.  McDevitt, Gabriella Chaname, Ariana Zarragoza, and Lauren Taylor all had an assist.  Goal Keeper Riley Ludwig had 5 saves in the win.

MSJC improved to 9-2 overall with the win while Southwestern fell to 3-6-2.  The Lady Eagles will be back in action on Friday when they host Imperial Valley College at 3:15 on the Menifee Campus.
