Offensive Explosion Leads to MSJC Soccer Win
The MSJC women's soccer team scored early and often on their way to an easy 16-0 win on Friday over visiting Imperial Valley College in a match played in Menifee.
The Lady Eagles got goals from eleven different players and used three goal keepers during the victory. MSJC led at the end of the first half 10-0 and went on to add six goals in the second. Patricia Roach was one of several Lady Eagle stars of the day as she scored two goals and was credited with three assists. Arianna Zarragoza also scored two goals and had a pair of assists for MSJC. Gabriella Chaname, McKayla Collins, and Taitum Murphy each added two goals for MSJC.
The win improved the Lady Eagles overall record on the year to 10-2, while Imperial Valley fell to 0-11. MSJC will travel to El Cajon on Tuesday to take on Cuyamaca at 1pm. The Lady Eagles return home to Menifee on Friday when they host San Diego City in a 3 pm match.
Arianna Zarragoza was one of 11 different Lady Eagle soccer players to score at least one goal on Friday, as she scored twice and had 2 assists in MSJC's 16-0 win over visiting Imperial Valley.
