Regular Season Ends in Heartbreaker for MSJC Soccer

The MSJC women's soccer team wrapped up their regular season on Friday with a tough 1-0 loss at home to San Bernardino Valley.

The Lady Eagles fell to the Wolverines after an "own" goal in the first 10 minutes.  From there on the defenses took over and the match ended in a 1-0 final.  Riley Ludwig had another strong day in goal as she made 4 saves for MSJC.

The loss concluded the regular season for the Lady Eagles, they finished with an overall record of 12-6-2.  MSJC was 5-4-1 in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference North Division which was good enough for third place.  San Bernardino finished their season 17-1-3 overall and were champions of the PCAC North at 7-0-3.

MSJC will now await the play-off pairings that will be announced on Tuesday to see if they made the field for the CCCAA Southern California Regionals.
