Teran Fourth MSJC Soccer Player to Sign Scholarship
MSJC women's soccer player Perla Teran became the fourth player from the 2016 Lady Eagles team to sign a scholarship when she committed to LaSierra University last week.
Teran, a former standout at Jurupa Valley High School, earned First Team All Pacific Coast Athletic Conference North Division honors this past season while helping her team to the program's first ever play-off victory. Teran, a defender for the Lady Eagles, also added some help on offense during the 2016 season as she had four assists. A two year starter for MSJC Teran had two assists during her freshman season in 2015.
Teran will join former Lady Eagle teammate Hanna Kanagawa who also signed with LaSierra earlier this summer. These two along with Riley Ludwig (William Penn University, Iowa) and Aida Sandoval (McPherson College, Kansas) will look to have an impact at their new schools this Fall. During their MSJC careers they made back to back trips to the CCCAA State play-offs and won a PCAC North Conference title in 2015.
LaSierra University is located in Riverside and is a member of the California Pacific Conference.
