career at Wayland Baptist University.

Christensen a defender from Redlands East Valley High School, started 16 of the Lady Eagles 20 games this past season as a sophomore.  Christensen picked up an assist during the season while helping her team to just the second conference title in the program's history and an overall record of 16-4.  MSJC had an outstanding season as they reached the CCCAA State play-offs for the third straight season and the defense earned 13 shut outs on the year.

Wayland Baptist is an NAIA Division I school located in Plainview, Texas and is a member of the Sooner Athletic Conference.  Wayland Baptist will have a strong influence of former Lady Eagles in 2016 as Christensen will join teammates Valeria Garcia and Gabriella Chaname who signed at WBU earlier this Spring.  These three future Pioneers are joined by three other former MSJC players who will be playing at the next level this upcoming season.  Kaylee Wolever (San Diego Christian), Ryane McDevitt (Lincoln Memorial), and Patricia Roach (Lincoln Memorial) have all already signed scholarships for the 2016-17 school year.
