Lady Eagles Send Four to Ojai in Women's Tennis

The MSJC women's tennis team will send four players on to Ojai to compete in the Southern California Regionals after qualifying through the Foothill Conference Tournament.torihallweb.jpg

Tori Hall leads the way for the Lady Eagles and will be the only MSJC player to compete in the individual portion of the tournament.  Hall advanced to the finals of the Foothill Conference Tournament finishing in second place.  Hall, a freshman from Hemet High, also teamed with Katie Henderson to advance in the doubles competition.  Henderson is also a freshman and comes to MSJC from Paloma Valley High.

Rita Pouangpannah and Jasmin Moreno will also represent the Lady Eagles in doubles.  Pouangpannah is from Banning High and Moreno from Hemet.  This year's MSJC team finished the regular season with a 4-4 record and was made up of all freshman.

The tournament in Ojai is a combination of the Regional and State Tournament and the individual and doubles competition begins on Thursday.
