Lady Eagles Tennis Team Wraps up Season at Ojai

The MSJC women's tennis team wrapped up a successful season over the weekend with four of their players competing at Ojai in the CCCAA State Tournament.sydneyhunt2015.jpg

alexhuff2015.jpgTwo Lady Eagles doubles teams and one singles player qualified for the event after a strong showing in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Tournament.  The doubles team of Sydney Hunt and Alexandra Hus reached the tourney in Ojai and won their first round match before losing in the round of 32.  The team of Amanda Haag and Jasmine Moreno also made the trip to Ojai.  Haag also earned her way into the event in the singles bracket.

MSJC finished the season 9-4 overall and 9-3 in PCAC matches which was good enough to tie for second place.  Hunt and Hus earned First Team All Conference honors for their play this season.

 

 

 

 

MSJC women's tennis players Alexandra Hus (left) and Sydney Hunt (right) both earned First Team All Pacific Coast Athletic Conference honors in women's tennis this year.  They along with teammates Amanda Haag and Jasmine Moreno also qualified for the CCCAA State Tournament in Ojai this past weekend.  MSJC finished the season with a 9-4 record.
