Due to High Demand, the funds available for Fall 2015 have been exhausted. Applications will no longer be accepted for the Term.

The Mt. San Jacinto College Foundation has a new grant that will be available to students for the Fall 2015 term.

The Help a Student grant is an institutional program that will allow students who are not eligible for Financial Aid and/or EOPS to apply for funds to cover books, supplies, and institutional fees up to $300.00. Students who qualify for Financial Aid and/or EOPS and are receiving financial assistance that can be utilized to cover educational costs beyond tuition fees are not eligible for this grant.

To be eligible a student must be in good academic standing. Students that are denied Financial Aid due to a low completion rate and/or GPA are not eligible.

Applications will be reviewed and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis during the application timeline or until funds have been exhausted each term. Applications must be received by the Foundation office during the application timeline. No late applications will be accepted.

Students may only receive one grant per academic year. Applications for the Fall 2015 semester will be accepted from Monday, August 3 through Thursday, August 27. Applications can be submitted to the Foundation Office at the San Jacinto Campus or placed in the drop box located near Enrollment Service at both the San Jacinto and Menifee Valley campuses.
