MSJC Foundation’s Oct. 10 Sunset Jazz & Wine Fest to Honor Military Veterans

MSJC and All From The Heart will donate 3 Motorized Wheel Chairs to Veterans during the event 

JazzFest2013-11.jpgThe Mt. San Jacinto College Foundation will hold its 5th annual  jazz festival at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014 at the Menifee Valley Campus.

The Sunset Jazz & Wine Fest will be a celebration of service to honor our military veterans for generations of service. All From The Heart, a Temecula-based non-profit, is partnering with the MSJC Foundation this year to present three local veterans with motorized chairs. 

Guests will be able to:

  • Check out the two hardback Military Humvees
  • Help paint the mural on the Veterans Resource Center wall
  • Enjoy food and drink

The Presentation of Colors and MIA/POW Remembrance table presentation, by the March Air Reserve Base Blue Eagle Honor Guard, will begin at 6:20 p.m.

Music for the evening will be presented by the Menifee Valley Jazz Ensemble.

The public is invited to enjoy food, friends and festivities. Tickets are $40 per person or $70 per couple. 

The MSJC Foundation is also offering the public the ability to sponsor a current MSJC Veteran for $30.

Proceeds from the Sunset Jazz & Wine Fest will be used for the creation of a MSJC Foundation Veteran’s Scholarship.
