Faculty Services

Testing services are available to current MSJC students who must take exams outside of the classroom setting for MSJC courses. Tests are monitored and timed, if necessary, and returned to the appropriate instructor or department. Students must present an MSJC ID to utilize testing services. (Instructors, see the Test Protocol Form available here as an RTF.)
Please note that our testing runs Mon-Thur 9am -6:45 pm and Fri 9am - 11:45 am. Testing must be completed during these hours. For example, a student would need to begin a two hour test by 4:45 pm in order to have the allotted two hour time frame M-Th. Students must bring the required items for testing (notecards, scantron, writing utensils, etc.) and their ID. Please notify your students of the hours and items needed to avoid any confusion.
You can email your Test Protocol Form and the test to or hand carry the form and test to the LRC front desk. Please note: if emailing the test, include the number of students (and names if only a few students) who will be testing so our front desk can generate the correct number of copies. Also include any special instructions and fill out the Test Protocol Form completely.
Proctoring Services
Proctored testing for students from other colleges and universities is available ONLY on the San Jacinto Campus for a fee of $50.00 per exam. Please contact the San Jacinto Campus Learning Center at 951-487-3480 at least two weeks in advance to schedule.
Homework Drop-off and Pick-up
Students may make arrangements with their instructor to leave assignments in the Learning Resource Center for pick-up by the instructor. All assignments are date/time stamped and placed in the instructor's file. It is the student's responsibility to contact the instructor about the drop-off as the Learning Resource Center staff does not contact instructors on behalf of students. Instructors may also leave work for student pick-up. Students must provide valid ID when picking up assignments.
