9/11 Commemoration at MSJC San Gorgonio Pass Campus

A 9/11 Commemoration was held at the San Gorgonio Pass Campus of Mt. San Jacinto College to honor those who perished and to recognize those who survived. 

Speakers were MSJC Superintendent/President Dr. Roger Schultz, Stacie Brown of Hemet who read a letter written by her sister – a survivor of the WTC, and Douglas Hammer of the Fire Memories Museum in Banning.  The Presentation of Colors and color guard were provided by the VFW Desert Edge Post 233 of Beaumont.  The Pledge of Allegiance was led by MSJC student Stephanie Vasquez and the National Anthem was sung by Linda Hanley of Beaumont and signed by MSJC student Liz Stafford. Karena Chum of Altura Credit Union served as MC.
