Bill Zimmerman recognized by MSJC Board

The MSJC Board of Trustees presented Bill Zimmerman with a plaque of recognition after they accepted his resignation from the Board of Trustees during the meeting on Aug. 9, 2018. Mr. Zimmerman resigned as he has accepted an appointment as mayor of the city of Menifee. Trustees thanked Mr. Zimmerman for his service to MSJC.

Trustee Ashley was named board chair and Trustee Ann Motte was selected to serve as clerk of the board.

In Mr. Zimmerman's letter of resignation, which Trustee Ashley read in the meeting, Mr. Zimmerman called his time on the board one of his best experiences and that he enjoyed it. He praised Superintendent/President Dr. Roger Schultz for his excellent leadership and professionalism. The board has decided to fill the vacancy by temporary appointment until the Nov. 6 election.
