Mt. San Jacinto College Announces: Clothes Line Project

April 12 – 29, 2016
San Jacinto Campus
Free Speech Area
1499 N. State St., 92583

Sponsored by the MSJC Diversity Committee and Title IX, the Clothes Line Project was started in 1990 as a way to address violence against women. Survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence or their friends and family members are invited to paint a shirt to express their emotions and raise awareness. Through the courage of survivors and their supporters that hang testimonies and thoughts on the clothes line for all to see, our community will bear witness to ongoing sexual and domestic violence against women, men, and children. Shirts will be displayed on the metal fence surrounding the MSJC eagle statue at the main entrance for the remainder of the month.
