An evening of the finest in concert band literature that ranges from John Philip Sousa to Frank Ticheli will be in store for the MSJC Concert Band audience.
Opening with Sousa's The Washington Post March, the band, directed by Robert Waner, will explore musical favorites including the entertaining Lassus Trombone, Clear Track Galop and Knightsbridge Chronicles. The conclusion of the performance will be the beautiful Frank Ticheli arrangement of Amazing Grace.
Appearing on the program will be the popular MSJC Trombone Choir. This group has been well received in performances both in the valley and out of town. They will perform Copeland's Fanfare For The Common Man, Schism, an original composition by Paul Fults and more.
