Dr. Pam Clute to Discuss STEM at MSJC event

Mt. San Jacinto College will host STEM Awareness with Dr. Pam Clute of the University of California, Riverside, on May 4, 2015 at the Menifee Valley Campus. This event is free and open to the public.

Dr. Clute, special assistant to the Chancellor of UCR and professor of mathematics, is a dynamic speaker and will discuss how Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, or STEM, impacts our daily lives. Her discussion will explain how math connects us to science, technology, engineering and the arts. The audience will be able to participate in the discussion.

The free event, sponsored by the Southern California Gas Company, will be held 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Business and Technology Building, Room 927. The campus is located at 28237 La Piedra Road in Menifee.
