Former MSJC student awarded a fellowship

On April 27, 2012, Mt. San Jacinto College alumnus Christina Osborne was granted admission into the doctoral program in Mathematics at UC Riverside and was awarded the Chancellor's Distinguished Fellowship beginning in Fall 2012.  This award covers her expenses for the 5 year doctoral program. 
On May 5th, 2012, Osborne graduated from California Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics  (summa cum laude, 4.0 GPA). She was a member of Kappa Mu Epsilon, Alpha Chi Honor Society, and given the top Mathematics Award. 
Osborne has worked at MSJC as a tutor in math, chemistry and physics throughout her undergraduate education.  She credits the instructors at MSJC who provided her with a strong foundation to excel at CBU.
