Mt San Jacinto College Superintendent/President Roger Schultz and California State University San Marcos President Karen Haynes signed an innovative transfer agreement at the Grand Opening of the new Temecula Higher Education (THE) Center on Saturday September 27. That same day, the MSJC Foundation held its 5th annual Scholarship Motorcycle Run, which started at the San Jacinto Campus and ended at THE Center.

The agreement between MSJC and CSUSM creates an educational pathway that allows MSJC students in specific programs to earn an Associate’s degree from MSJC followed by a Bachelor’s degree from CSUSM, beginning with degrees in business. The tuition rate is locked for all four years, and students will complete the program in four years if all requirements are met successfully. Course work is presented at THE Center and students progress together as a “cohort” or group. THE Center is located at 43200 Business Park Drive in Temecula.
