Students can now take a Digital Video Design I class, or DIG 190, at Mt. San Jacinto College’s San Jacinto Campus. The class is already offered at the Menifee Valley Campus. This course addresses the creation of interactive commercial productions that incorporate video, typography, digital imagery, movement and audio. Students will explore all phases of video design including pre-production, production and post-production and the integration of text and images into the medium of video as it relates to the digital video design industry. Projects will use aspects of narrative, experimental and documentary techniques.
The class is part of MSJC’s Career Education programs. Students can earn an associate degree or career certificate and be ready for jobs or promotional opportunities in fields like marketing, web design, social media management and more. This class has a prerequisite of DIG 110, however it can be challenged with any audio technology class previously completed using a pre-approved Prerequisite Challenge Form. Register today.
