Three MSJC teams competed during the March 5 event
Congratulations go out to Mt. San Jacinto College teams Atomic Reactors, comprised of students Andrew Price, Anthony Martinez, Ryan Woodyard, Sammy Macaluso, and Patrick Ramaker, for taking 1st place overall in the University of California, Riverside Wind Turbine Competition on March 5. Team Average Joe's Kenneth Torres, Roman Chaar, Sean Kerr, Sean Santarsiero and Rama Chaar, took 2nd place, and Team Gemini completed its project and competed. The three MSJC teams competed against students from Riverside City College, Moreno Valley College, Norco College, and Crafton Hills College.
“All of the teams were very impressive, but it feels good to take the competition this year,” Price said. “We have waited for this for a long time.”

Logan Allen (far left) of Lake Elsinore and Jasmine Board of Murrieta were part of MSJC’s Team Gemini, which participated in the UCR Wind Turbine Competition. Two other MSJC teams earned first and second place in the competition held in early March.
