ACCJC 2010 Follow Up Report Site Visit Update
As you know, Mt. San Jacinto College submitted our ACCJC 2010 Follow Up-Report to the ACCJC on Friday, October 15, 2010. A short ten days later we were hosts to two ACCJC site visitors.

Over the last three months, faculty members have made tremendous progress in developing and defining student learning outcomes (SLOs) for many of their courses.

San Jacinto College Office of Institutional Effectiveness (Accreditation, Research, Assessment, Grants and Planning) to disseminate complex information about our institution’s practices and processes related to planning.
Budget Update from MSJC Superintendent/President
As we continue to plan, the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office is advising us to expect mid-year cuts from the state in January.
MSJC graduate accepts permanent position with the U.S. Department of Education
Julian Alcazar, a 2008 MSJC graduate, accepted a full-time position with the Office of Innovation and Improvement at the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, D.C.

Gina Oliver recently played in the 2010 women's slow pitch major division World Series as starting pitcher for the California State Champions.
