San Jacinto Campus Remains Closed on Wednesday, April 30, 2014
Mt. San Jacinto College’s San Jacinto Campus will remain closed to the public the remainder of Wednesday, April 30, 2014 due to high winds. Strong gusts have caused trees or tree limbs to fall and debris to fly. No injuries have been reported. MSJC has cancelled classes and closed the campus to ensure safety of students and visitors.

MSJC officials will monitor weather and safety conditions. MSJC Alert text messages and e-mails will be sent to those who have provided updated information via  Eagle Advisor. Information will also be posted on the college web site and Facebook page about the status of the San Jacinto Campus as soon as it comes available.

Students and visitors planning to travel to the San Jacinto Campus on Thursday, May 1, 2014 are urged to check road closures www.dot.ca.gov/cgi-bin/roads.cgi and weather information www.weather.gov prior to leaving to determine the conditions and best route of travel.

MSJC’s other locations remain open. The San Gorgonio Pass Campus is experiencing some high gusts, but no damage. Those traveling to the Pass Campus should use caution, especially when opening doors.
