Sculptor/Multi-media Artist
Stacey Wexler has been working professionally in the arts for more than 3o years. She earned her MFA from Claremont Graduate University with an emphasis in Ceramic Sculpture and her BFA from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Additionally, she attended Art Center College of Design with a specialization in computer graphics.  Ms. Wexler has 20 years of experience as a sculptor in the Entertainment Industry. She has worked on film sets for Men in Black, Batman Returns, Pee-wee’s Playhouse and Kill Bill and music video sets for Michael Jackson, Madonna and Pia Zadora. She has created large-scale outdoor sculptures for Caesar’s Place in Las Vegas and has freelanced as a designer in the mannequin industry for notable art houses such as Silvestri, Grenecker and Decter, creating both lifelike and stylized mannequin lines.  She is currently an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Art and Architecture at Los Angeles City College.  Her own personal creative work has been exhibited nationally and in Germany, Italy and Hungary. She was selected as a resident artist at the Hungarian Multi-Cultural Center in Budapest. Stacey Wexler has a studio in Downtown Los Angeles.
Picking up the Pieces can influence individuals who may be in need of support and may encourage others in helping them get the support they need. It is my hope that this public display of the work will help destroy the stigma attached to chronic depression and mental illness”
