President
Joia Miller
I am a huge advocate for student equity and will do my best to bridge the gap between
students and faculty. Many improvements can be made to our institution's policies
to ensure that all students' needs are met, from office hours accommodations from
faculty to students to low-income assistance, with a significant emphasis on cultural
and disability awareness. It is pertinent that we work as an institution to accomplish
these goals to make a more equitable and welcoming environment, fostering more student
engagement and making MSJC the place to be!
Vice President, Menifee Valley Campus
Darrion Lee
Please vote for me because I will take the initiative to lead, elevate the voices
of students, promote inclusion, and advance academic performance. Pupils should have
a supporter who will listen to them, work with them, and stand up for their needs.
Together, let's create a campus where each student's voice counts and they all succeed.
Cast your ballot for advancement, self-determination, and a more promising future.
Vice President, Temecula Valley Campus
Student Trustee
I believe I should be Elected because I am very loud—not just metaphorically but literally. With my loud voice, I can speak for those who want change and those who want to be heard, but most importantly, I could be MSJC students' Spokesperson.
Commissioner of Financial Affairs
Alexander Visag
I am committed to enhancing student life and amplifying your voices on campus. My
focus will be on improving overall resources, increasing club funding, and promoting
inclusivity. Vote for me to make a real, positive change in our community. Your concerns
are my priorities!
Commissioner of Student Equity & Cultural Affairs
I believe students should vote for me because I genuinely care about the cultural differences of my community and others. As a social justice and sociology major, I am constantly learning to put an emphasis on advocating for the equity of those who too often and unjustly go overlooked. As a Black queer woman I have had to learn how to use my voice effectively in academic spaces and a plethora of others. Students and faculty deserve to have someone who they can trust are thinking and advocating for them all of the time.
Senator of Student Equity & Cultural Affairs
Micaela Gonzalez Bartolo
I want to become a senator for student equity & cultural affairs because I aspire
to represent all communities on our campus. Our cultura is vital to each one of us,
and it is important to promote equality and cultural diversity. Students should vote
for me or any candidate they feel can represent student equity & cultural affairs
because it represents our communities and culture. It is important to understand the
challenges students face due to a lack of belonging in their own community. At MSJC,
I feel a sense of belonging in my Hispanic community, and there are a lot of people
who welcome everyone from different communities and cultures.
Senator of Public Relations
MSJC offers an amazing campus environment, built on core values such as inclusivity, celebration of heritage and authenticity. As Senator of Public Relations, I vow to ensure MSJC is creatively and, most importantly, accurately represented to the student body and incoming students, to the best of my abilities.
Senator of College Activities
I believe you should vote for me because I understand the ups and downs people go through when it comes to their education. I know clubs/events like these help give those students a sense of community and bring out the best in them. I want to be apart of that!
