Legacy Society & Planned Giving
The Legacy Society recognizes those farsighted individuals during their lifetime who include the College in their estate plans. There are a variety of ways in which to make an estate gift. A bequest to MSJC Foundation can be simply made through a will or family trust. Estate gifts can also be made using a new or no longer needed insurance policy, or from assets held in pension funds.
Several gift arrangements can be structured to provide income to donors or a loved one. These enable individuals to make a gift to MSJC Foundation, enjoy several tax planning and tax saving benefits, and receive or provide an annual income for life. Income gift arrangements can be structured to provide fixed or variable income, to one person or several. Ultimately, the gift will benefit worthy students or the College.
Our heartfelt thanks to our Legacy Society Members who have included us in their estate planning.
"This is my community, and supporting our community is my purpose in life. I was inspired by a speech delivered by Dr. Richard Giese, former president of Mt. San Jacinto College. His words literally changed my life" According to Ed. in his speech Dr. Giese pointed out that community college is the training ground for most people to pursue their dreams and careers. While many students go onto four-year colleges and universities, most do not. Supporting community college is an investment in making the community a better place. - Ed McDanial: McDaniel Family Perpetual Art Scholarship
"The College has done so much for me, I want to give something back. I know that the college does a lot for many people, and some of them need help." - Edith Schmoll
We would be happy to talk with you about the different ways to make a planned gift.
