Michael Beckham

Bio:

Mr. Beckham’s affiliation with Mt. San Jacinto College spans nearly thirty (30) years beginning with his enrolling in an evening math course while attending high school.  He earned degrees in pure mathematics from the University of California.  He began his career teaching mathematics as an Instructor for The Princeton Review and subsequently as an Associate Instructor in Mathematics and Lecturer at the University of California.  He joined Mt. San Jacinto College as an Associate Instructor and administrator coordinating evening academic programs at the Menifee Valley Campus.  Shortly thereafter, he joined Mt. San Jacinto College’s Menifee Valley Campus faculty full-time and has attained the rank of Associate Professor.  His service to the College outside the classroom has spanned many roles: chair of the college's budget and tenure review committees; chair of the Menifee Valley Campus Mathematics Department; Interim Dean of Instruction of the Math/Science Division; and Interim Executive Dean of Institutional Effectiveness & Strategic Initiatives.  He currently serves as Mt. San Jacinto Community College District’s Vice President of Business Services.
