A Message and Video from Dr. Roger Schultz, MSJC Superintendent/President

Sent 10/01/2020

Hi, Eagles.

We're seven weeks into the Fall 2020 semester and I wanted to provide you with a few updates.

For the safety of our students, faculty and staff during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our Spring 2021 semester will look very similar to this semester and be held mostly online.

We have listened to and reviewed feedback we've received from students and will continue to make adjustments to improve our online learning environment. Those improvements will be evident in the spring semester and our 8-week, late-start course offerings that begin Oct. 19.

Students who attended our virtual town hall on Sept. 16 brought up some important questions about the spring semester, financial aid, online instruction and our 2021 graduation plans. I sat down with SGA President Brian Moreno-Alvarez to discuss these and talk about SGA.

Watch our video to learn more and save the date for our next student town hall at 11 AM Oct. 21. You'll receive the Zoom link shortly before the meeting in your MSJC email.

Until next time, Eagles, be well and stay safe.
