Beyond Fuel: Why Food is an Amplifier for Human Potential
Diana Jimenez, RDN, discusses the profound role of food and nutrition, which extends far beyond basic survival and fuel. She emphasizes that food serves as a glue for society, a key to longevity, and a messenger that communicates with our DNA, impacting future generations. Recognizing that food unfortunately fuels chronic disease and body image issues today, Ms. Jimenez advocates for a mindset shift. She shows how, with the right tools, we can use food as nature intended: to nourish our spirits, serve as medicine for our bodies, and build a foundation for humans to thrive now and in the future.
