Ujima

Our Mission:

Ujima, Mt. San Jacinto College’s African-American and Black Professional Association, was established in 2020 to address the unique needs and concerns of African American and Black students and employees at Mt. San Jacinto College. Ujima will serve as a viable and visible organization dedicated to the empowerment of African-American and Black identified faculty, classified professionals, administrators and students at MSJC, by creating a system of advocacy. Ujima is a resource that will be utilized for promoting cultural sensitivity while representing the interests of African-American and Black students, faculty and staff.
