California Dream Act Service Incentive Grant Program
The California Dream Act Service Incentive Grant Program (DSIG) encourages California Dream Act Application (CADAA) students with a Cal Grant B award to perform community or volunteer service. The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) will award up to $4,500 per academic year to 1,667 eligible students ($2,250 per semester) for up to 8 semesters and must apply annually to the program.
- Complete and submit the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) for the academic year
- Must be an active recipient of a Cal Grant B Award
- Complete 150 hours per semester of community or volunteer service hours
1. Apply
- Download, complete, and submit the Grant Application form on the California Dream Act Service Incentive Grant Program website.
2. Schedule a meeting with an UndocuDREAMers Counselor
- The UndocuDREAMers counselor will walk you through the process on how to perform community or volunteer service hours.
3. Sign the MSJC contract
- Complete check-ins throughout the academic year with Program Liaison, Lisa Campbell.
