My name is Carla Maroudas (ma-roo-das). I have been teaching in-person, hybrid, and online courses at MSJC since 2008. I am a wife, a working mom of a high schooler and college student. I am also a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a reader, and a traveler. I designed my courses for busy students and novice learners. I aim to be as flexible and supportive of student learning while challenging them to develop their reading, writing, thinking, and research skills. My student's unique identities and perspectives are part of what makes each class interesting.
My additional roles at MSJC include being a Puente Program English faculty and English Department chair.
