A Message from the Superintendent/President | Welcome to Black History Month at MSJC
2/1/2023
It’s February and MSJC is excited to kick off Black History Month with today’s event “Black Mental Health Matters.” This event is open for all to attend. I encourage you to RSVP and join the online event that starts at 2 PM.
It is important for each of us to join one or more of the events offered this month. Events like these serve to inform, educate and enlighten us about the rich cultural history and contributions made to our society by our Black and African American brothers and sisters.
Please visit the online MSJC events calendar and read the Weekly Round Up each Tuesday to learn about other events and opportunities that celebrate Black History Month. Download Zoom or Teams backgrounds in support of Black History Month.
Remember, we at Mt. San Jacinto College are proudly committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility. Please visit the Call to Action page to learn more about the initiatives designed to eradicate racism in this college district and ensure we provide the support our Black and African American students need.
I look forward to seeing you at one or more of this month's events.
Roger
