MSJC Joins the Komen Inland Empire More Than Pink Walk

October 10, 2019

The Mt. San Jacinto College Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) and Outreach Team will participate in the 2019 Komen Inland Empire More Than Pink Walk on Sunday morning in Murrieta.

The event, which has already raised more than $135,000 to combat breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease. The race is unique in the fact that 100% of the net proceeds are allocated to their mission.

MSJC Outreach will have an information booth at the event’s expo. Join the Team or donate today.

Registration and the expo begin at 6:30 a.m., with an opening ceremony following at 8 a.m. The walk then starts at 8:30 a.m. The expo concludes at 11 a.m.

For more information, contact Team Captain Jennifer Borton at jborton@msjc.edu or Beth Bowles of MSJC Outreach at bbowles@msjc.edu.

Mt. San Jacinto College serves about 27,000 students in a district covering 1,700 square miles from the San Gorgonio Pass to Temecula, with campuses in San Jacinto, Menifee, Banning and Temecula.
